Dear friends hello from greece i have one 6920 and i want to have my soundcard working on 8.10 all i did as well is to make it working with the oss but the resalt is to get on "max vol" the 20% of the sound power compering to vista sound (small db). and i cant use the mixer i get an error what to do i love ubuntu power and i want to leave the F@@@ing MicroSoft please help i am new on the linux so make it easy please

thanks CJay554 but the sound it is not good....every thing else is good and with 8.10 you have out of the box the lan and wifi and bluetooth and hot keys all are working out of the box
so the camera with cheese and the vga with nvidia drivers all easy
only the sound what to do its a lovely machine and i need help
